A minimum grade point average of 3.50 is required for membership of the NHS.

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors with a 3.50 or higher GPA are eligible for membership, and will be invited to fill out an application.

Applications are evaluated on the strengths of: 

• Scholarship
• Leadership
• Service
• Character

Invitations are issued each fall in October, after the end of the first six weeks grading period.
